capitalizes on 420 years of strong trade and knowledge sharing heritage between Thailand and the Netherlands.
Since this European nation possesses a wealth of natural resources and a rich agricultural setting,
the Netherlands has been able to identify the most effective way to optimize productivity and reduce wasteful processes
by taking a step back to identify their own methods of production and innovation.
This reflective concept has allowed the country to rectify any gaps and devise more effective solutions to help promote sustainable success in the agricultural industry and beyond.

.

It was noted in the session that although Thailand has the capacity to become world leaders in agricultural output,
a strong push to increase skilled workforces is extremely necessary to take challenges head-on and battle ahead with knowledge
and experiential know-how. This is why the new concept to develop a productive mindset to help add value to every step of the agricultural process.

The Farming of Future Management Certification Course was established for Thai plant developers, R&D personnel
and middle management to help develop a better understanding of the 4 tracks towards “the farm of the future”.
The integrated course includes lecture, project development, and pitching and includes course content based on the following 4 tracks:
1.Good Agricultural Practices
2. Shift Towards Non-Chemical
3. Inviting Nature on the Farms
4. New Technologies

The integrated format of the course allows participants to be onsite in the Netherlands for plant and business visits to learn more about smart greenhouse technology,
vertical agriculture, streamlined agricultural waste management facilities, and so much more.
The end results are to promote a productivity mindset to ensure that no unnecessary natural resources, money, time and effort are wasted, which will ultimately lead to added-value products and outcomes.
This study mission on sustainable success helps bridge the gap between Thailand
and the Netherlands to harness the power of nature with allied concepts in Health, Nutrition, Innovation and Sustainability.

The message was clear and the steps towards a better tomorrow are within our reach when the development of more knowledgeable and skilled workforce takes place.
“There is no better way to learn and move our country forward than to learn from the best leaders in the agricultural industry in the Netherlands”, said Dr. Jarernpornnipat.
