🚀 Clean Energy Solutions and High-Impact Innovations Building Momentum Towards the KMITL Innovation Expo 2024 in March! âœĻ

The road to clean power branches off into different avenues of innovation and for the KMITL Innovation Expo 2024,
the Stirling Engine Using Biomass Generator from the Faculty of Engineering offers a new spin on high-efficiency power generators.

This Gamma-type iteration uses Liquid Petroleum Gas (LPG) gas burner to heat the engine with no combustion.
The use of biomass on combustion as a heat source can then be used to produce electricity as a clean energy output.

With applications in remote locations thanks to its compact size,
rural communities can use this safe and clean power source to live out daily lives to the fullest.

The benefits of using the Stirling Engine Using Biomass Generator are exponential as it helps reduce the carbon footprint
with its carbon neutrality for eco-safe power. Its costs are relatively low but the electrical energy yield is high,
making this type of clean energy solution effective, safe, and sustainable.

Other applications of the Stirling Engine have been seen in solar power plants,
which can harness the heat from the sun and converts it into mechanical energy and then to electricity.
This highly efficient method has also been found to work well in heavy industry as it is able to recover waste heat to convert back to clean energy.

One of many innovations from KMITL, be sure to visit the Stirling Engine Booth at the KMITL Innovation Expo 2024
where you can connect with the innovators and engineers themselves. Explore the many different tech, energy,
healthcare, food industry, smart city innovations on display to help source out new products
and innovations to help your organization thrive in today’s booming economy.

Be sure to join us at the KMITL Innovation Expo 2024 from March 1-3, 2024 to see all of the latest KMITL high-impact innovations and KMIRL startups.
The 3-day event is an exciting opportunities for students, researchers and instructors to network and match with industry experts to jumpstart home-grown KMITL innovation initiatives.
