Notable Publishing and Research Funding Achievements

Our research initiatives have been pushing the limit and gaining great attention on both national and international levels. In 2023,
KMITL researchers at King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang were ranked among the TOP 2% of world-class researchers!
Here are just a few of our most distinguished achievements this past year.

We start with our KMITL researchers from the Digital Economy Promotion Agency (Depa),
King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology Ladkrabang and SiamInnoCity who received the Presidential Hackathon 2023 award from the President of Taiwan, Tsai Ing-Wen, in Taipei, Taiwan earlier this year.

In Europe, Dr. Monsinee Atthawanich, Dr. Monsinee Atthawanich, Mr. Kritsada Ponsap and Mr. Rapee Bunbutr from the Faculty of Architecture, Art and Design,
KMITL won the gold medal and received for special recognition for their work entitled “Ready-made plant growing kits for disaster periods”
at the Republic of Poland The 16th International Invention and Innovation Show (INTARG 2023).

While back in Aisa, Asst. Prof. Dr. Natthaphon Rerkkasemsan from the Department of Chemical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering,
KMITL won the “Grand Prize” at the “Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF) 2022” competition in Seoul, South Korea, for his work
“Innovative mobile negative pressure room for use as an ICU room in hospitals and field hospitals.”

Our researchers have worked tirelessly to follow their goals all throughout the year.

สจล.มุ่งมั่นสร้างความเป็นผู้นำด้านงานวิจัย เพื่อพัฒนาคุณภาพชีวิต และสร้างประโยชน์ให้สังคมจนได้รับการยอมรับในระดับโลก โดย Stanford University
ได้เผยแพร่ข้อมูลรายชื่อนักวิทยาศาสตร์ที่ได้รับการอ้างอิงสูงที่สุดใน Top 2% ของโลก ในสาขาวิชาต่าง ๆ ซึ่งรายชื่อของอาจารย์และนักวิจัย สจล.
ได้รับการจัดอันดับอยู่ในกลุ่มนักวิทยาศาสตร์ชั้นนำระดับโลก “World’s Top 2% Scientists” ประจำปี 2023

ผลงานการคิดค้นของ สจล.ยังได้รับการยอมรับในระดับนานาชาติจากรางวัลมากมาย ในปีที่ผ่านมา สจล. ร่วมกับ สำนักงานส่งเสริมเศรษฐกิจดิจิตอล (Depa) และ สตาร์ทอัพ สยามอินโนซิตี้
คว้ารางวัลชนะเลิศจากเวทีการแข่งขัน Presidential Hackathon 2023 ที่ไต้หวัน ได้เข้ารับรางวัลจากประธานาธิบดีไช่ อิงเหวิน ผู้นำไต้หวัน ด้วยผลงานนวัตกรรม ‘Re-Fill City’ แอปพลิเคชั่นต้นแบบ หาจุดเติมน้ำฟรี – ลดขยะพลาสติก
แพลตฟอร์มรณรงค์ให้ทุกคนในเมืองนำขวดน้ำพกพาของตนเองเพื่อเติมน้ำดื่มได้รอบเมือง

ด้านเวทีในยุโรป ทีมนักวิจัย สจล. ประกอบด้วย ดร.มนสินี อรรถวานิช, นายกฤษฎา พลทรัพย์ และนายระพี บุญบุตร
ยังคว้ารางวัลการประกวดสิ่งประดิษฐ์และนวัตกรรมระดับนานาชาติ The 16th International Invention and Innovation Show (INTARG 2023) ณ MCK Katowice, International Congress Centre เมืองคาโตไวซ์ สาธารณรัฐโปแลนด์
ได้รับรางวัลเหรียญทอง และได้รับรางวัล Special Prizes on stage จากองค์กรนานาชาติ จาก The 1st Institute Inventors and Researchers in I.R.Iran (FIRI Award) จากผลงานเรื่อง “ชุดปลูกพืชสำเร็จรูปสำหรับช่วงภัยพิบัติ”

นอกจากนี้ เวทีการประกวดที่ประเทศเกาหลี ผศ.ดร. ณัฐพล ฤกษ์เกษมสันติ์ ภาควิชาวิศวกรรมเคมี คณะวิศวกรรมศาสตร์ สจล. ได้รับรางวัลชนะเลิศ “Grand Prize”
งานประกวด “Seoul International Invention Fair (SIIF) 2022” ณ กรุงโซล ประเทศเกาหลีใต้ จากผลงาน “นวัตกรรมห้องความดันลบแบบเคลื่อนที่เพื่อใช้เป็นห้อง ICU ในโรงพยาบาลและโรงพยาบาลสนาม”
