💥Three Heads Are Better Than One- The King Mongkut’s Educational Ecosystem Is Becoming A Reality

💡KMITL Innovation Expo was all about the future of Everything from New-skilling Upskilling and Reskilling in Higher Education,
and Carbon Credits to New Farming and People-Centric Smart Cities of the future,
the best and brightest minds in a dynamic range of industries came together in the spirit of knowledge sharing
and creative inspiration to identify and discuss the future trends and potential solutions that can move the country forward.

💭Takebacks from one of the most pivotal talks during the 2-day event was the
“Upskill, Reskill and Newskill-3 King Mongkut’s Institutions Join Forces for Sustainable Success”
session which brought together all three higher education sister institutions. On stage was our very own Associate Professor Dr. Komsan Maleesee, President of KMITL,
Associate Professor Dr. Suvit Saetia, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi,
and Professor. Dr. Suchart Siengchin, President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology North Bangkok.

The 3 visionary leaders discussed the challenges that face Thailand and neighboring emerging economies.
It was evident that the staffing of specialists, number of experts in the field and limited resources often hinder the capacity of our industries to grow.
Although these challenges pose barriers to success, together, they can be overcome with allied partnerships between the King Mongkut’s Higher Education System.

Each of our prestigious institutions, KMITL, KMUTT, and KMUTNB all possess superior expertise
and when combined to create a proactive ecosystem to develop the skills and provide frameworks for industrial workforces,
the end product of better skilled graduates and researchers of all levels will be able to inject their expertise into their respective fields.

🎯 With the ultimate goal of implementing credit banks for higher education, the reality of shared study among different universities is just beyond the horizon.

According to Dr. Komsan,
“we need to develop integrated academic and practical systems that can be shared with students and lifelong learners of all ages and skill levels.
We need to combine our efforts to really think and really do the things that have high impact and sustainability value.”

Needless to say, the future looks much brighter when all three great institutions work together for the future of our nation.

ขับเคลื่อนระบบนิเวศน์ทางการศึกษาบนความท้าทาย ยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้ยั่งยืน

งาน KMITL Innovation Expo  2024 สุดยอดงานแสดงนวัตกรรมและผลงานวิจัยครั้งยิ่งใหญ่แห่งปี
รวมสุดยอดผลงานแนวคิดและนวัตกรรมจากทุกด้านทั้งในด้านการศึกษา อุตสาหกรรมหลากหลายสาขา Smart City, Health & Wellness,  อาหาร, และการเกษตรอินทรีย์
ในงานนี้ยังได้เปิดเวทีเสวนาโชว์วิสัยทัศน์ แลกเปลี่ยน แบ่งปันความรู้และประสบการณ์จากผู้นำในทุกสาขา

บนเวทีเสวนา หัวข้อ “สามพระจอม ร่วมมือผลักดันอุตสาหกรรมด้วยนวัตกรรม” Upskill Reskill New-skill   เป็นการแลกเปลี่ยนมุมมอง
สร้างพลังขับเคลื่อนภาคการศึกษา โดยผู้นำจาก 3 พระจอมฯ  รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.คมสัน มาลีสี อธิการบดี สจล. รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สุวิทย์ แซ่เตีย อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าธนบุรี
และศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุชาติ เสียงจีน อธิการบดีมหาวิทยาลัยเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าพระนครเหนือ ได้แลกเปลี่ยนมุมมองถึงความท้าทายที่ประเทศไทยและประเทศเศรษฐกิจเกิดใหม่กำลังเผชิญ
ทั้งการผลิตบุคลากรผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และทรัพยากรภาคการผลิตที่มีจำกัด เป็นอุปสรรคต่อการเติบโตของภาคอุตสาหกรรม
แต่เมื่อเกิดความร่วมมือกันระหว่างสถาบันอุดมศึกษาชั้นนำด้านเทคโนโลยี โดยเฉพาะสถาบันที่เป็นผู้นำในการสร้างสรรค์องค์ความรู้ งานวิจัย
การขับเคลื่อนนวัตกรรมอย่าง สถาบันเทคโนโลยีพระจอมเกล้าทั้ง 3 สถาบัน จะทำให้เกิดพลังในการสร้างระบบนิเวศเชิงรุก สร้างคน และสร้างนวัตกรรม เพื่อยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้ยั่งยืน

รศ.ดร.คมสัน มาลีสี อธิการบดี สจล.กล่าวว่า
“เราจำเป็นต้องมีการพัฒนาควบคู่ทั้งภาควิชาการและภาคปฏิบัติ
ส่งเสริมการเรียนรู้ตลอดชีวิต ยกระดับทักษะและสมรรถนะของคนทุกช่วงวัยให้สอดคล้องกับ การพัฒนาขับเคลื่อนในภาคภาคอุตสาหกรรมสู่ความยั่งยืนของประเทศ”

ถือเป็นก้าวแห่งอนาคตอันสดใสของประเทศไทยที่สามสถาบันการศึกษาระดับแนวหน้าด้านเทคโนโลยี ร่วมกันขับเคลื่อนภาคการศึกษางานวิจัยสร้างนวัตกรรมเพื่อยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมไทยให้ยั่งยืน
