Contrast Therapy in the Palm of Your Hands

Thailand is known for its traditional Thai massages and the hot herbal compress. At the KMITL Innovation Expo 2024, the award-winning innovation, EASEA,
from the Electron Plus Company, creates the same therapeutic effects of the hot herbal compress ball has attracted the attention of the attendants of the expo.

Dr. Hai, a KMITL post-doc alumni, has utilizes his micro-chip board technology to provide contrast therapy (hot and cold temperatures) into one convenient hand-held device.
EASEA is an updated version of the ancient traditions of the herbal compress ball and can be utilized for pain relief,
relaxation and maintenance of muscle stress all throughout the day.

When asked about his inspiration for the EASEA, Dr. Hai said, “we wanted to take something that was a representative of Thai culture and add value to it.
Everyone loves a good massage and when we can do it ourselves with our hand-held device,
it can provide great health benefits while still capturing the essence of the Thai herbal compress.

Still in the final stages of R&D, the EASEA will be a high-impact innovation with tons of international appeal.

Stay tuned with KRIS for more information about EASEA and please contact KRIS to learn more about how you can become a top researcher in Thailand.
